Classes

Kelly Ann's offers a variety of classes throughout the year
to keep your quilting skills fresh while learning new styles
and techniques. Our instructors have a depth of experience
in the many areas of quilt-work. From Quilting 101 to
Stack-n-Whack, you'll find a class for it throughout the year.

Notes:

"Size" indicates the minimum and maximum number of students the instructor requires to go ahead with the class.

Due to class size limitations, cancellations must be made at least two weeks before the scheduled class start date. No refund will be given for cancellations after that date.

Difficulty Description
One bee indicates a very easy, basic class. Students need to bring a sewing machine in good working order and be familiar with its use.
Two bees indicate that students must be comfortable using a rotary cutter and their sewing machine. It will be necessary to be able to sew an accurate 1/4-inch seam.
Three bees indicates a class for a student that has successfully made several quilts and would like to learn a new technique or get better at more advanced quilting.
Four bees indicate a class for our most advanced students. These classes would be taught by a very experienced teacher and would address the more difficult quilting techniques and projects.

In 2003, in Staunton, Virginia, a six year-old Malamute-Husky mix dog named Mosby, a local icon, storefront pal and friend to many was shot point-blank, and killed. Mosby's death was felt not only in Staunton, but across the US as the story of his death spread. From that tragedy sprang The Mosby Foundation: organized exclusively for charitable purposes, to assist in the care of sick, injured, abused and neglected dogs through financial support and public education. Take a look at their web site, read Mosby's story and help support The Mosby Foundation!
